Hey guys, just a quick one this week. I've uploaded more models to the Turbosquid. When I'm finished I'm hoping to have about 15 total, at least for this initial start. Also, you might notice tabs at the top of the blog now. I'm working on a book list, and a free tutorial section. Check them out!

This week I have a little digital painting to show. I was very inspired after reading the novel "Ender's Game", and have thus painted my own take on the book's alien, the Bugger Queen. Enjoy!

Quick Sketch

Hey all, just a quick update this week to keep things going here on the blog. I've been pretty busy working on models to upload to Turbosquid, among other things, so haven't got a lot of sketching in. The modeling has been a nice departure though, so no complaints :)

Somer Moon Album

Hey everyone!
This week I have something a little different to share. Last year my sister finished recording her very own, debut, music record! I was lucky enough to get to design the 6 page digipack album for her, including cover design/photography, plus other fun items inside.

Doh Doh the Dodo

Hey guys! Here's this week's sketch...a study of the Dodo skull from my ref during my Science Center visit.
For this I used a simple round brush for everything, single layer for the skull itself, and no color picking. Really wanted to practice color matching, and thought this would be the prefect subject as it doesn't have too many varying colors.
