Ant Man? Some times I just draw really random

odd ball things. This is such a case.



I got this really cool book entitled Designs of Nature,

from which I drew these items. I'm looking forward to drawing

from this book a bit more in the future. It serves as a nice juxtaposition

to the more solid surface form building that I've been doing.

1982 VW Rabbit Deluxe

Here's the Rabbit! I've been eyeballing these for quite some time, and love the car already. The simplicity and elegance of the old German styling is really appealing to me, and it's a diesel with really good mileage. Here's some shots, including an old advert I created with found imagery.

VFX Demo Reel

Following a bit of a hiatus, I'm back to sketching and blog posting! I have another demo reel to share, this time for Visual FX. Take a look.

In the last couple of months I've been sketching faces, having a lot of fun with it and learning a great deal. I get excited in the attempt to capture just a hint of person's essence or emotion through their facial expression and through their eyes. As of now I can only get remotely close to that goal, however, but i'm pretty happy just to achieve a level of likeness and recognizable quality with them.
